Maroon Bells Wilderness - 2023

My plan was a four night, five day loop through the Maroon Bells Wilderness near Aspen, CO. The route would take Sadie and I over four 12k+ saddles and through some of the most beautiful locations in the Colorado Rockies. Unfortunately, on day two, Sadie got some pretty bad sores on her pads form the chipped granite on the passes. We still got in three nights and really enjoyed every bit of this pretty difficult trek. We ended up comoing off the trail in Aspen and Ubering back to the car in Snowmass.
